This week consisted of my regular 48 mile work commute along with 40 miles commuting to the chiropractor. Finally got sick of my back not allowing me to do what I want. Plus I have a 190 miles bicycle ride 05/02 and 17 hours in a saddle with a sore back doesn't sound like fun.

"Training Log" 04/05/2015 - 04/11/2015 Indy - Story - Indy Brevet
Along with my regular work commute I racked up some miles riding Indiana Randonneurs 200k: Indy Story Indy. Over 200 miles by bike this week.
Weather was absolutely perfect, well for me anyway. High of 60degF, when I left my house it was 37degF. I'd take these temps over anything ever in the 80s.
Early in the ride going through downtown Indy.
Sun starts showing itself south of Indy.
It really was a perfect day for a ride.
I love riding in rural Indiana. Note the mountains in the back, they may not be tall but the roads go straight up.
Approaching the halfway point and the Story Inn command.
Half done. Now we get to do it all over again.
Since I rode to the Brevet I had to ride back. Here's a parting shot, another 10 miles and I'm done.

"Training Log" 03/29/2015 - 04/04/2015 Sanibel Island Florida
This week was fun in the beaming hot sun of Sanibel Island Florida. I was prepared for the biking, wasn't prepared for the sun. Being a northerner Florida is a great place to visit for about 5 days. It was beautiful nonetheless.
A little hike through a preserve on the island. The leadership on the island has done a pretty good job not over developing and keeping some sections wilderness.
Here's a shot leading to the beach.
Bikes everywhere!
I feel bad for those that had to wait in all of the auto traffic, wait, no I don't. I was getting around just fine.
I love it here in early April, well for about 5 days. Maybe I should visit in February...

"Training Log" 3/22/2015-3/28/2015
This week miles consisted of commuting to work and my first day of vacation in Sanibel Island Florida.
No more space left for bike parking. A problem I'd like to see back home.
